Want a Whiter Smile?

Whiten first and then Dr. Cornette will custom color match your Veneers to match your new whiter smile.

Can be used to repair:
  • Worn Down Teeth
  • Spaces Between Teeth
  • Cracked or Chipped Teeth
  • Permanently Stained Teeth
  • Slightly Crooked or Poorly Shaped Teeth
  • Correct uneven length

Veneers cover the front of the tooth surface and slightly wrap around the sides and biting edge of the tooth. Veneers are attached using a thin but strong bonding material. The material hardens when cured by a specialized light.

Porcelain or Composite?

Porcelain veneers are the longest-lasting and most aesthetically-pleasing type of veneer. They are created in a lab to the exact specifications and mimic the look of natural enamel, using multiple thin layers of porcelain. The size, color, shape, and fit are fully customized.

Time
The translucent properties of porcelain allow the veneer to catch light extremely similar to the way a natural tooth does. While composite resin still looks great, porcelain is unmatched. An incredible benefit of porcelain veneers is they are stain resistant. If you receive this type of veneer on most of your upper and lower teeth, this could mean no more having to whiten your natural teeth.

Cost
Porcelain veneers are more expensive than composite initially. The placement of porcelain takes more time, expertise and resources. The dental labs Dr. Cornette works with are chosen very carefully. Call now to schedule an appointment and get a comprehensive estimate.

Veneers:

At the Aesthetic Dental Center of Kentucky, Dr. Cornette designs your smile, hand-crafts your veneers (less than 1mm thick), then together you will select your custom color. Then the lab creates the perfect porcelain veneer as prescribed by Dr. Cornette, just for you! Compared to bonding:

Maintains Shine
Stronger
More Natural
Bonding:

Bonding is an application of composite resin that Dr. Cornette hand sculpts to achieve your desired results; i.e., close a gap, "straighten" a crooked tooth, or cover an intrinsic strain. Dr. Cornette also hand selects the color to give you a more

natural look. Veneers and bonding can be used to correct many of the same problems. While aesthetically pleasing bonding is slightly different from venners:

More Dull/Less Shine
Less Durable
More Monochromatic
